Guests can join a film via a shared link. They do need to download the Folio app to take photos, but it's free, and the process takes about a minute.
No, that's the whole point. Photos are locked until the reveal date you set. Not for guests, not for the organizer. No exceptions.
Each film has a shot limit you set when creating it. Once you've used yours, you can still view the film on reveal day, you just can't add more photos.
Yes, the organizer can change the reveal date before it arrives. Once the film has revealed, the date can't be changed.
As many as you like. There's no limit on the number of films. Each one is just a separate in-app purchase based on the group size you choose.
Yes. After the reveal, every participant can save photos from the film directly to their camera roll.
Currently Folio is only available for iPhone. An Android version is being explored, let us know if that's important to you.
