This privacy policy describes how Folio ("we", "us") handles personal data collected through the iOS app "Folio - Disposable Camera". By using the app, you agree to the collection and processing of data as described below.

2. What data do we collect?
Folio collects only the data necessary for the app to function:

Folio does not collect location data, contacts, browsing history, or other sensitive information. No third-party advertising trackers or analytics services are used.
3. How do we use your data?
Your data is used solely for:
- Creating and managing your account
- Storing and displaying photos within films
- Processing payments for creating films (via Apple StoreKit)
- Sending notifications about the reveal of your films
- Customer support upon request
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
4. Storage and security
All user data, including photos, is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union. Supabase complies with GDPR and uses encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Payments are processed via Apple StoreKit. Folio does not receive full payment details such as credit card numbers, Apple handles all payment processing.
5. Data retention
Your account data and photos are retained for as long as your account is active. After deleting your account, all associated data will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
Photos from a specific film are retained until the organizer deletes the film or the account is closed.
6. Your rights
As a user, you have the right at any time to:
- Request access to the data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your account and all associated data deleted
- Object to the processing of your personal data
- Request a copy of your data (data portability)

7. Children
Folio is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us at [email protected] so we can remove the account.
8. Tracking and advertising
Folio does not track users for advertising purposes. No ad networks, third-party analytics tools, or cross-app tracking technologies are used.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. For material changes, you will receive a notification via the app. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.
